David Finn, Psy.D.
Dr. Finn holds a Doctorate of Psychology. He is the Owner and Director of Associates in Human Development Counseling, responsible for overseeing every aspect of the various treatments and services provided by the agency. Dr. Finn is a Court Appointed evaluator in Cook Co, Lake Co, McHenry Co, Kane Co, Kendall Co, DuPage Co with over 14 years of experience conducting 604.10b, 604.10c, and 215(a) evaluations. As an evaluator and clinician, Dr. Finn is objective and compassionate in his approach. Dr. Finn has presented to several professional groups including Association of Family and Concilliation Courts, Illinois Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Cook County Guardian ad Litem training, Texas Center for the Judiciary, Texas Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Forensic Forum of Chicago, serving as the President of the Forensic Forum in 2014. Dr. Finn is also a published author.

Carol Reid, Psy.D.
Dr. Reid recently joined Associates in Human Development Counseling, LLC, in April, 2018, as the Clinical Director. Dr. Reid is a licensed clinical psychologist, who has been in practice for over ten years. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, providing individual, group and family therapies. Dr. Reid has also taught graduate level courses in psychology to future counselors, therapists and psychologists.

Laura Gebhardt, LCSW
Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Illinois State University and a Master’s in Social Work from University of Illinois -Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work. She obtained her certificate in Divorce Mediation from Northwestern University. Laura has supported children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family services to remain intact in the face of abuse and neglect. Laura has been a school social worker for eighteen years, supporting children with special needs and their families to function well both in and out of school. In her role as a therapist, Laura is compassionate, trustworthy, non-judgmental, and supportive. Laura enjoys helping adult clients to increase their self awareness regarding their own thoughts and behaviors to enable them to make choices so that they may reach their goals and feel more joy. As a divorce mediator, Laura helps people to reach the best decisions for themselves as amicably as possible in order to avoid the courts
having to decide for them.
