David Finn, Psy.D.

Dr. Finn holds a Doctorate of Psychology.  He is the Owner and Director of Associates in Human Development Counseling, responsible for overseeing every aspect of the various treatments and services provided by the agency.  Dr. Finn is a Court Appointed evaluator in Cook Co, Lake Co, McHenry Co, Kane Co, Kendall Co, DuPage Co with over 14 years of experience conducting 604.10b, 604.10c, and 215(a) evaluations.  As an evaluator and clinician, Dr. Finn is objective and compassionate in his approach.  Dr. Finn has presented to several professional groups including Association of Family and Concilliation Courts, Illinois Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Cook County Guardian ad Litem training, Texas Center for the Judiciary, Texas Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Forensic Forum of Chicago, serving as the President of the Forensic Forum in 2014.  Dr. Finn is also a published author.

Carol Reid, Psy.D.

Dr. Reid recently joined Associates in Human Development Counseling, LLC, in April, 2018, as the Clinical Director.  Dr. Reid is a licensed clinical psychologist, who has been in practice for over ten years.  She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, providing individual, group and family therapies.  Dr. Reid has also taught graduate level courses in psychology to future counselors, therapists and psychologists.

Dana Tardella, Psy.D.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Dana Tardella (back) to our team!  Dr. Tardella interned at our office for several years before re-joining our team after completing her doctorate studies.  Dr. Tardella works with children, adolsecents and adults.  

 

Alex Stolte, M.A.

Alex holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  For the past three years, Alex has conducted Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Alex looks forward to applying the skills and therapeutic techniques he has acquired during this time to help adolescents, adults, and families find new ways of interacting with the world in order to reach satisfaction and fulfillment. Alex views therapy as an exciting opportunity to help his clients address distressing emotions, while teaching them essential strategies for healthy coping and promoting emotion management skills. Alex strives to create a comfortable and collaborative environment for his clients, which he fosters using humor, art, and structured therapeutic activities. Alex has a particular interest in working with individuals struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, which he fostered when he worked for a crisis/suicide hotline for 1.5 years.

Tanya Little, Office Manager

Tanya has been with Associates in Human Development Counseling, LLC for over six years. Responsible for scheduling, billing, filing, and tech support, she is arguably the most important person on our team. Always wearing a smile, Tanya is ready to answer any questions that you may have.
