Our Team

David Finn, Psy.D.

David Finn, Psy.D., is the owner and Director of A.H.D.C.  As an evaluator and clinician, Dr. Finn is objective and compassionate in his approach.

Education

Dr. Finn earned his doctorate in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Focus
Dr. Finn’s areas of clinical expertise include: child custody evaluations, parental alienation, high conflict families, parent-child reunification and co-parenting.
Associations

Dr. Finn is a Court Appointed Evaluator in Lake, McHenry, Kane, Kendall and DuPage Counties, providing 604.10c and 215(a) evaluations.  He is a published author who has presented locally and nationally, including to the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Illinois Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Cook County Guardian ad Litem training, Texas Center for the Judiciary, Texas Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Forensic Forum of Chicago, serving as the President of the Forensic Forum in 2014.  Dr. Finn is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the American Psychological Association.

Mark Hagler, LCPC

Mark Hagler is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who comes to our agency with twenty years of therapeutic experience. He has worked in a variety of settings, including therapeutic school, psychiatric hospital and more than ten years as Clinical Director of a community mental health agency. He has done presentations at state and national conferences on his forensic work and provided trainings on sexually problematic behaviors. He is also a licensed sexual offender treatment provider and evaluator.

Violeta Suarez Hidalgo

Violeta Suarez Hidalgo is the Executive Administrative Assistant to Dr. Finn.  She coordinates and schedules appointments with Dr. Finn. For court-ordered evaluations or interventions, please reach out to her at vsuarez@ahdcllc.com. 

Tanya Little

Tanya Little is the Office Manager at A.H.D.C.

Therapists

Every year, A.H.D.C. is proud to work with graduate school programs and train future therapists.  Our trainees possess the knowledge and skills to assist clients in reaching their full potential.  They provide supervised and therapeutic visitation, individual and family therapies, and co-facilitate group therapies.
